What we believe

We believe that God loves us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to show us how to live out God's message of peace and justice for all people. We believe that Jesus' Spirit freely dwells amongst us, transforming people's lives and recreating the earth. We believe that we are infinitely loved by God; that there is nothing we can do to make God love us more and that there is nothing we can do to make God love us less. We believe that we exist as a church to point people towards God and to work as co-partners with God in establishing communities of faith, hope, justice, and peace. And we believe that faith and church should be life-giving, adventuresome, and fun.

As individuals we wish to be open to God, living lives shaped by prayer and scripture, loving unconditionally and using and developing our gifts in God's service. As a community, we wish to be worshipful, prayerful, supportive, caring, learning, growing, joyful, welcoming and inclusive to all.
